DIPAYAN JANA, President, Petrographer, Materials Scientist, Professional Geologist  Specialized in testing, evaluation, investigation, and research of construction materials, including their short and long-term performance. For the last ten years, Mr. Jana has been involved in more than thousand projects on quality assurance and forensic investigations of various kinds of construction materials and structures.  He supervises the entire operation of the team, a major part of which involves regular field and laboratory examinations, consulting, report preparation, administrative operations, and expert testimony in trials and arbitrations.  (Download Resume)

LINDA DAVIDSON, Consultant Previously worked as an Office Secretary at CMC, Mrs. Davidson provides assistance in preparation of CMC flyers, brochures, newsletters, and internal manuscripts prior to their publications. Graduated with honors with an associate degree in Secretarial Science, Mrs. Davidson is efficient in MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Graphics programs.  Prior to joining the CMC, Inc. Mrs. Davidson worked as Secretary, Programming Librarian, Receptionist, and Administrative Assistant in Bank,, Industrial firm (e.g. IBM), Law Firm, Taxation Board, and Churches.


 

 

 

Theresa Casper, Laboratory Technician Mrs. Casper provides sample preparation, imaging, photography, photomicrography, and chemical analysis services in the CMC laboratories and has joined the team with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from the Pennsylvania State University.  Previously worked as a Geotechnician in IT Corporation Mrs. Casper is well- trained in all aspects of laboratory services that are required for petrographic examinations and chemical analysis of construction materials. Apart from regular petrographic sample preparations of concrete, mortar, bricks, stone, stucco and other construction materials, Mrs. Casper is also involved in innovative sample preparation techniques in concrete petrography, e.g., dye-mixed epoxy impregnation for thin-sectioning, large-area thin-sectioning, black-and-white contrast enhancement in air void analysis of hardened concrete, etc. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

JENNIFER LEE HALL, Office Secretary Mrs. Hall is the office secretary of CMC and its sister company Applied Petrographic Services, Inc. (APS).  Mrs. Hall's responsibilities vary from answering phone calls to report preparation, office and laboratory equipment and consumable inventory control, payable and receivable updates, sample return and disposal process, client and project data entry, etc. The smooth operations of CMC and APS depend significantly on the skill, dedication, enthusiasm, and active participation of Mrs. Hall in the team.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

JEFFREY MARTIN BROWN, Laboratory Technician Mr. Brown has joined the firm with a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Science and Geography with concentrations in Geology, Cartography, and Mathematics. Mr. Brown is involved in extensive sample preparation for CMC and the sister-company, Applied Petrographic Services, Inc. (APS).  From regular day-to-day operations of sectioning, grinding, polishing, thin sectioning, and other sample preparation methods Mr. Brown is also engaged in the research and development of innovative sample preparation fixtures and techniques for automated precision sectioning and grinding of multiple samples for the bulk production of quality thin sections for the customers of APS.
